MEMBERSHIP

Annual dues of $20.00/person or $35.00/couple were approved to cover costs of leasing the Art House and to promote individual participation in the activities of the society.  Additional fees may be charged for participation in special events.

SCOPE

An organization open to all interested local professional and amateur photographers meeting on a regular basis to engage in activities intended to enhance creativity and technical skills and to promote the understanding of photography as an art.



GOALS

• Enhance the creativity and technical skills of members.
• Promote the understanding of photography as an art form among the members and in the community.
• Increase members’ opportunities to exhibit their work.

ACTIVITIES

• Regular constructive critique sessions among members.
• Presentations on topics concerning creativity, technical skills, work flow, design principles, trends in photography, displaying history of photography, past and current photographers and their work.
• Sharing of information concerning available resources.
• Identification of photographic subjects.
• Identification of opportunities for members to exhibit their work.
• Establishing database of members.
• Internet newsletter.
• Creation of web site.
